2. What this policy covers
This policy describes how we collect, use, and share information when you visit ringorx.com, browse our pages, join our mailing list, or place an order for a RingoRx device through the Site. It applies to information collected through the Site only.
3. Information we collect
3.1 Information you provide
- Mailing list: when you submit our mailing-list form, we collect your email address and the role you select (e.g., patient/caregiver, provider, partner).
- Orders: when you purchase a device, you provide information needed to fulfill the order, such as your name, shipping address, phone number, and email. Payment card details are entered directly with our payment processor (see Section 5) and are not collected or stored by us.
- Communications: if you email us, we receive your message and contact details.
3.2 Information collected automatically
- Usage and analytics data: like most websites, we automatically collect technical and usage information such as pages viewed, links clicked, referring pages, approximate location (derived from IP address), browser and device type, and timestamps. We use this to understand how the Site is used and to improve it.
- Cookies and similar technologies: we and our analytics provider may use cookies, local storage, or similar technologies to recognize your browser and measure site activity.
4. Analytics & how we use tracking tools
We use Project Crumb, an analytics and event-tracking tool, on the Site to measure traffic and understand how visitors interact with our pages — for example, which pages are visited, which buttons are clicked, and how visitors move through the Site. We use this information solely to operate, secure, measure, and improve the Site and our content and offers.
These tools may collect information such as your IP address, device and browser characteristics, pages and events on the Site, and similar usage signals. We do not use Site analytics to make decisions about your medical care, and Site analytics are kept separate from any health or adherence data handled by the RingoRx software. You can limit tracking through your browser settings (for example, blocking cookies) or by using browser privacy features; some parts of the Site may not function as intended if you do.
5. How orders & payments are handled
Purchases made on the Site are processed by Stripe, Inc., our third-party payment processor. When you check out, you are taken to Stripe’s secure checkout, where you provide your payment, shipping, and contact details. Stripe processes that information under its own privacy policy. We receive order confirmation details (such as the items ordered, shipping address, and contact information) so we can fulfill and support your order. We never receive or store your full payment card number.
6. How we use information
- To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site;
- To respond to your inquiries and provide customer support;
- To send you mailing-list updates you have requested (you may opt out at any time);
- To process, fulfill, and support orders placed through the Site;
- To analyze Site usage and measure the effectiveness of our content; and
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use.
7. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as follows:
- Service providers: with vendors who help us operate the Site, such as our analytics provider (Project Crumb), payment processor (Stripe), email/hosting providers, and shipping/fulfillment partners, each acting on our behalf.
- Legal & safety: when required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of RingoRx, our users, or others.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
8. Data retention
We retain information collected through the Site for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described here, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You can ask us to delete your mailing-list email at any time.
9. Your choices & rights
- Mailing list: you can unsubscribe at any time by contacting hello@ringorx.com.
- Cookies/analytics: you can control cookies through your browser and use privacy features to limit tracking.
- California residents: depending on applicable law (including the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended), you may have rights to access, delete, correct, or limit certain uses of your personal information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. 10. Children’s privacy
The Site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the Site.
11. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information collected through the Site. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. Third-party links
The Site may link to third-party sites and services (such as app stores or Stripe). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties; their policies govern your use of them.
